Don’t stop!
I understand that it may be a bit of a thank-less task with no financial reward, but I love the analysis, particularly the Calculation page.
Is there a way that you could get visitors to contribute more to the site? Perhaps open up a weekly “hot tips” page when people can offer their own bets up. Could you call for registrations via email and enter people into a weekly punting comp?
This site has legs and I just don’t want to see it die – it has a future.
Thanks,
Paul Snooks
I concur with Tony. I would be rapt to see the continuation of the weeks bets. As I said last August no other tipster in Australia has the courage to keep a tally of the bets which are scrutinized. Please keep it going as it is of great interest and much appreciated. Thanks so much .
Kind regards Geoff Martin
John, thank you for your reply, although I must say I am still confused, but we will leave it at that, in respect of your judgment and record proved over the years Bill
From Bill McNamara 24/8/13. Long time follower, without much time in the past to really look into the reasons for the ratings, but as I now have retired, I am trying to understand them better, but you have flattened me with your ratings on race 4 in Sydney today, I cannot reconcile how this horse became number 1 selection, perhaps when you have time you could clarify this. Really appreciate your ratings. Continued good luck
Out of maiden grade, something probably comes back in sound enough order to beat this filly. Nevertheless, if nothing has improved, she has fitness on some of these and just might salute at huge odds. Having said that, it’d take us by surprise too…
G’day Geoff, well spotted… The short answer is that two different person assess the week’s bets and the week’s Quaddie. Having said this, there is almost always an overlap. It just so happened that today the Quaddie (Big6) analyst thought that Mawingo represented such poor value in the multiples that he was worth risking. We were right in that respect, but Mr Moet couldn’t quite overcome the obstacle laid before him in the form of a miserable tempo (and, arguably, a jockey who didn’t read the race well enough). Make no mistake, the horse is a star. Anyway, the week’s bets are based almost entirely on a formula, while the central tenet of the multiples is value. I hope this clears things up!
Hey mate, we love the bets and the printout, have been an avid follower since your old website days going back to 2009

Hi! I can’t follow why Mawingo is considered to be rated a bet and yet it is left out of the straight 6 ?
